Wire Exit Sheave Box
This wire exit sheave box has been designed specifically for use with wire halyards. The large opening on one side of the sheave allows a wire ferrule to pass over the sheave and into the mast, perfect for jib halyards when the tail would typically be spliced onto an eye in the wire.
With an easy to remove axle pin, sheaves can be maintained or swapped very simply. The axle pin is held in place by the surface the box is mounted too or the curved backing plate which is included.
Key Features:
- Durable Construction: The body is CNC machined from marine grade aluminium for long-lasting performance.
- Various Sheave Options: A choice of three sheave materials and bearing options to suit your specific application.
- Versatile Compatibility: Suitable for a wide range of mast sizes and applications. Includes a curved backing plate for mounting to the leading edge of a mast.
- Large Ferrule Opening: Minimises wear and tear on halyards for extended rope life. A large opening on one side of the sheave allows a wire ferrule to pass over the sheave and into the mast.
