QR is the new Antal clutch that offers high holding power and allows you to release a manoeuvre even under the maximum load, without the aid of a winch.
Two models for 10 and 12 mm lines are available in three different versions: standard, with mounting base and for side mounting.

With two fingers. The new Antal QR clutch allows you to release a maneuver even under its maximum load. Traditionally, clutches need to be winded up and pre-tensioned on a winch drum, loosing precious seconds. QR lets you open the handle and release the power, without the aid of a winch.
Open QR Clutch. Evidence from tests is that the line does not wear after having been released. This because it has been designed to exert its grip on 4 sides of the rope, for a safer hold and a higher locking power. Lines run freely with the handle closed, while jaws are locked open inside. To switch to clutching mode, press the button and activate the jaws.
QR clutch and DVJ jammer, From a mechanical point of view, the QR Clutch uses an improved machanics of the DVJ - Double V-Grip Jammers. Like the DVJ, also the QR distributes the wedges' grip on a wide surface and keeps pressure low on a wide section of the line. As a result potential line damage is reduced.
And on top of the DVJ, the QR enables the quick release of the line even under extreme loads. This is a key characteristics for racing boats' spi sheets, where locking off is occasionally needed.
