Patent pending, Soft Snatch Blocks, with a hardcoat anodized aluminum static block that utilizes a Soft Shackle for connecting to just about anything. These extremely strong and lightweight blocks can be implemented without a line end, just open the shackle, place the line in, connect the shackle to a mounting point, and wrap the veclro strap around the entire unit to keep the line in place.
The static block design uses a large radius to minimize friction. In addition, UHMWPE lines like Dyneema actually get harder as tension goes up, so friction actually gets less with line load. Three sizes available, for up to 9 mm running line, 12mm running line, and 16 mm running line.
Extremely lightweight compared to bearing blocks and works great with slippery synthetic line.
