Works well. Like the Sta Fast swivel. Replacing a carbon fiber extension with the Sta Fast swivel that broke at end and had to cut 3"+ off end so little short now. Had an adjustable extension with Sta Fast swivel that lasted 10+ years that came unlocked couple times and Al eventually bent.

Having used floppy tiller extensions for ever. Banging around and sometimes getting stuck in the wrong place - what a great thing the sta fast tiller extension is. Well worth the extra cost, plus no clip required when folded away.

Have been upgrading my Laser 2 for a while. Looks like new and this telescopic extension is one of the best upgrades... So easy now to manage my sailboat, so light and easy to lock and unlock in the run...
