Developed with Zhik’s elite race team, the Elite Foot Strap delivers uncompromising comfort, control, and performance for board sports and trapeze sailing. A semi-rigid preformed arch keeps the strap open for quick foot entry and release, while the adjustable internal Velcro ensures a perfect fit. With 7mm neoprene padding, bevelled edges, and reinforced mounting points, it’s engineered to maximise energy transfer and stability in high-intensity conditions.
The Zhik Elite Footstrap has been designed in collaboration with our dedicated race team for board sports and trapeze sailing. The strap size is easily adjusted using internal Velcro & semi-rigid panels ensuring a secure fit for all foot sizes.
Making use of a semi-rigid core also ensures optimal energy transfer from the sailor to the hull or board. Our footstraps are designed to maximise kinetic energy and ensure you get the best possible performance.
The pre-formed shape ensures the strap does not collapse and the user can insert and remove their foot easily. A bevelled edge on the internal strap and external 7mm neoprene padded cover ensures a comfortable fit with no irritation that works both with boots or bare feet.
