Manufacturer part #: CL238
When using the Clamcleat® CL238, the red gate is flipped up by hand to keep the rope out of the alloy cleat and prevent unintentional entry of the rope into the cleat.
- The CL238 is a modified CL219, so you will see "CL219" engraved on the bottom of the cleat.
- Also available in Nylon - see CL237.
- Spare red Gate available as PT238GATE.
- Usng a CL804 Tapered Pad can aid rope alignment.
- CL240 is a larger version of the CL238 (for 12-16mm ropes).
- CL219 is the cleat on its own, without the spring gate.
