Tariff Updates

We are observing how the tariffs are behaving. Lots of our products are imported from Europe and some of the manufacturers are not providing heads up about price increases. We will do everything in our power to hold the best prices, but please consider that in these uncertain times we may be forced to increase the prices without previous notification.

We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you.

What does this mean for you?

  • Some imported products may show a higher price than usual.
  • Prices may change as shipping rates adjust globally.
  • We are committed to providing the best possible pricing and transparency at all times.

How we’re handling it:

  • We only adjust prices when absolutely necessary.
  • We continuously monitor shipping rates and update pricing accordingly.
  • We’ll clearly notify you if a product is affected by tariffs.

These easy-to-adjust cars combine a spring-loaded pinstop with precise track spacing. Use on dinghies and small sport boats with jibs up to 140 ft2 (13 m2). Car and track are built of tough 6061-T6 aluminum that is Hardkote-anodized black with Teflon® impregnation for durability.

The 450 pinstop jib lead has a removable bail to attach a spring and block. The 452 bullseye lead has a controlled pivot angle so the cleat is always within easy reach. Use 451 bullseye cars when line deflection is small.

    Lighting Jib Leads

Posted by Henry McCray on May 21st 2016

This years model is a little different than years past. For the Lightning in the past you would attach a 40mm Double (swivel) and run the metal strop from the car through the hole in the post of the Double block. Harken increased the size of the post on the lead car so that doesn't work anymore. We used a 40mm T2 and lashed it to the post (with the spring mashed in there) and it worked perfectly. AWESOME LEADS! A must for Lightnings getting rid of thier stock "crew killers."
