Robship Safety Boarding Ladder MK2

This is a soft type rescue safety ladder in an acrylic fabric cover bag. You can use it by fixing it on the stern pulpit or other strong attachment points. It’s compact size and UV protected straps mean it can be left permanently mounted without fear of degredation

Pull it out by yourself. Reaches under water

10 ladder steps are each spaced at 30cm in height. The steps are made with a webbing belt strengthened with fiberglass battens, so it won't lose its shape when stepped on.

A 2.5m deployment cord extends from the bottom of the storage bag, which can be hung from the bottom to easily release the ladder by pulling the cord from water level when you fall into the water alone. The ladder is extra long so that on most boats there is enough length of the ladder in the water to get your feet onto the ladder while still in the water. This is important as it can be very difficult for people to lift themselves out of the water in an emergency situation, especially with wet clothing on. Therefore, being able to pull out the ladder in the water, and being able to climb it up easily even underwater, is extremely handy for rescue operations. A ladder made from hard materials falling on top of you when you are lowering the ladder by yourself from below would be dangerous, but this ladder is made of lightweight soft webbing material, so it’s safe!
