Vernier batten adjusters allow fine tuning of batten compression. Low gearing of the vernier screw permits fingertip adjustment, and precise settings are easily repeated with the aid of the graduated window. Slot at the luff end allows attachment by webbi.

Suits battens up to 22 mm (7/8") x 10 mm (3/8"), or 13 mm (1/2") diameter.
