This type of cleat is available in several versions for many different applications. Countersunk head screws or bolts of the recommended size should be used.

The polyamide cleat is ideal for low load applications whereas the aluminium cleats prevent rope burn under higher load.

Seldén valley cleats are designed and produced by Clamcleat Ltd, UK.

    These are my mainsheet swivels of choice. The ability to change the angle is key so you can get the mainsheet cleat just right. Also, the tension feature works great and the adjustable wings are perfect so the base can't wrap all the way around. Harken cleats fit the base, and so do I Ronstan ratchets. Perfect combination. My original one is 08' and going strong. This makes the ninth one I have installed in a lightning and will continue to recommend them.
